Son of the St.Louis blues legend Big George Brock, Big George Jr. as many call him, is a force to be reckoned with. When only just a toddler, his mother, Ella Jane,(E.J.) to some, would awaken Big G Jr in the middle of the night to listen to blues records."I was three years old when I heard my first blues recording, it was Moaning at Midnight by Howlin Wolf.".

When Big G Jr returned home from his military duties in Europe, he sought out his father, Big George Brock, to pursue his love of the music. Once under his father's tutalege, Big G Jr sharpened his harmonica and vocal skills. Big G Jr has had the pleasure of working with the Soulard Blues Band, of St.Louis,MO. and the Mondin Band, of Alton,IL. Also, his father's band, the Houserockers. "I thank God everyday for allowing me the gift that he has given me," says Big G Jr.

Big George Brock Jr. now resides in Ft.Worth,TX. where he has hooked up with The Detonators.
